Why we built it
Getting paid is hard enough without wrestling billing software. Most invoicing tools ask you to create an account, pick a plan, and learn a dashboard before you can send a single document. We wanted the opposite: open the page, type on the invoice, and download a clean PDF — no signup, no card, nothing to install. Your first invoice is free and takes under two minutes.
How it works
The editor is fully WYSIWYG — what you type on the document is exactly what downloads. You can create invoices, estimates, quotes and receipts, choose from 45 templates across eight layouts, add your logo, and bill in 25+ currencies with region-aware tax formatting. Sign in with a free account and BillCrafter remembers your business details, clients and past invoices so the next one takes seconds. A Pro plan adds unlimited exports, Word and Excel export, status stamps and recurring invoices — but the core generator stays free.
Who runs it
BillCrafter is made by CCC STUDIO. We’re a small team, we don’t sell your data, and drafts stay in your browser until you choose to save them to an account. BillCrafter is a document tool, not an accounting or legal service — tax and contract rules vary by country and state, so check anything material with a qualified professional.
